Jake S. Truscott's research focuses principally on examining the American federal judiciary using high-performance computing systems and non-conventional data sources like text and audio. To date, his research and other public-facing work has been published, mentioned, or featured in The Journal of Law and Courts, The Justice System Journal, Political Research Quarterly, as well as other major news publications and editorials. Most recently, he has been engaged in a comprehensive research agenda centering on the application of high-performance computing systems to study the latent and explicit properties of language employed within the American legal community.
