Stacey Liou is an Assistant Professor of Political Science and an affiliate faculty member of UF's Department of Gender, Sexuality, and Women's Studies. She is a contemporary political theorist whose research focuses on the politics and aesthetics of protest, with additional interests in rhetoric and the politics of language. Her book, Unruly Acts: Protest, Riot, and the Politics of Interpretation, is forthcoming from Cambridge University Press. Other work has been published in journals including Political Theory, Theory & Event, and European Journal of Political Theory.
