Shahnawaz “Shawn” Abdullah is a first-year PhD student and works in international relations theory, with interests in friendship and enmity in global politics, constructivism, norms, institutions, and U.S. relations with states such as Iran, Cuba, Israel, and the United Kingdom. He also has teaching experience in political science and IR.
