James Justus is a Ph.D. student in Political Science at the University of Florida. His major field is American Politics with a focus on race and ethnic politics. His research examines how social hierarchies, institutional power, and representation shape political participation, democratic inclusion, and policy outcomes affecting Black communities and other marginalized groups.
