Commander Christopher Cedros is a U.S. Navy officer and incoming PhD student in Political Science at the University of Florida. A native of Titusville, Florida, he earned his bachelor’s degree from the University of Florida and a master’s degree in Homeland Security and Defense from the Naval Postgraduate School. His operational assignments have included service aboard USS Klakring, USS Farragut, and USS Michael Murphy, as well as shore assignments at Surface Warfare Officers School, Navy Personnel Command, and as Commanding Officer of Navy Reserve Center Tucson. Following completion of his doctorate, he will serve as a Permanent Military Professor in the Political Science Department at the U.S. Naval Academy.
