Chloe Lopez am a 3rd-year Ph.D. student in Political Science at the University of Florida, majoring in International Relations and minoring in Comparative Politics. Her research primarily focuses on the intersection of forced migration, international security, and conflict studies, with particular interest in how international norms and conflicts shape state responses to refugee flows. Her work draws on a range of methodological approaches, including case studies, cross-national statistical analysis, and process tracing. She received my M.A. in International Affairs from the University of North Florida, where she was awarded the MAIA program’s inaugural Outstanding Research Award for Best Thesis.
