Professor Rosenson received her M.A. in Political Science from Yale University and her Ph.D. from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. Her research and teaching interests include political corruption, political reform, media and politics, and American political development. Her book Shadowlands of Conduct: Ethics and State Politics examined the passage and limits of conflict of interest laws for state legislators. Professor Rosenson has also published articles on Congressional ethics investigations, media bias in coverage of state legislators, and whether political reforms reduce perceptions of corruption. Current research projects focus on presidential nepotism, gendered perceptions of political courage, and how gender and ethnicity affect media coverage of Congress.
