Anna Verma

Anna Verma is a PhD student in the Department of Political Science. Her research focuses on elections, public opinion, and political behavior, with the goal of understanding how socially and politically marginalized groups engage in politics. She undertakes a normatively grounded empirical investigation of women’s political preferences in India, examining its implications for democratic inclusion and accountability. She holds a B.A. (Hons.) in Political Science from the University of Delhi and an M.A. in Political Science from Jawaharlal Nehru University.
