B.A. Poli Sci 1989 – Criminal court judge, Hillsborough County. He received his law degree from the University of Pennsylvania. He serves on the Board of Directors of Tampa Crossroads.

 

Jules Cohen

B.A. Poli Sci 1959 – He received a Law Degree from Harvard University. He is an attorney working for Akerman Senterfitt in Orlando, specializing in bankruptcy law.

 

Peggy Conway

Distinguished Professor Emeritus of Political Science, University of Florida. Professional interests are primarily in American politics, with particular emphasis on political behavior (political participation, political socialization), political parties and interest groups, and women and politics.

 

Jo Franklin

B.A. Poli Sci 1968 – She is President of Sea Castle Films in Marina del Rey, California. Formerly she was producer for the McNeil-Lehrer News Hour. She is author of The Wing of the Falcon (1995), and writer/director of a number of documentary films.

 

Stephen Stanfield

B.A. Poli Sci 1992 – He received his law degree from Regent University’s College of Law. Since 2002, he has worked as an attorney with the office of Jeffrey Meldon & Associates, P.A in Gainesville.

 

Kelli Taylor

B.A. Poli Sci 1994 – A former associate at Kilpatrick Stockton in Atlanta, she serves as the Firm’s Manager of Associate Training and Development. In 1998, Ms. Taylor graduated, cum laude, from Stetson University College of Law. She also earned her LL.M. in Taxation from UF in 1999.

 

Albert Thweatt, II

B.A. Poli Sci 1991 – He also has a law degree from UF, MBA from the University of Richmond and M.Ed. in Educational Psychology from the University of Virginia. He has his own private law firm in Richmond, VA, specializing in real estate law, estate planning, and corporate law. He is active in the Virginia Bar Association and the Richmond Crusade for Voters.

 

Jennifer Slone Tobin

B.A. Poli Sci 1992 – She received her law degree from Duke University. She is a partner in Shutts & Bowen’s Orlando office. She is a member of the firm’s Real Estate Practice Group. She currently serves on the Development Review Committee of the Downtown Development Board, and as the President of the board of directors for the Downtown Orlando Partnership.

 

Marjorie Reitz Turnbull

B.A. Poli Sci 1962 – Also received her M.A. in International Affairs at the University of Georgia. She served in the Florida Legislature and is currently the Executive Director of the Tallahassee Community College Foundation.
