Congrats to the Winner of the 2017 Best Honors Thesis Award, Hunter Waters!

Congratulations to Hunter Waters, winner of the 2017 Best Honors Thesis Award. Hunter’s thesis was titled “Detention or Discrimination: Pretrial Relases of Juvenile Felony Offenders in Adult Court.” It was supervised by Professor Sam Stafford. In an informal ceremony at the Department’s office today, Hunter thanked Professor Stafford for his mentorship and support as well as Professor Michael Martinez for teaching him research methods and advising him on the data analysis.
